Some of the drawings depicted are reproductions of E.H. Shepard’s illustrations of Christopher Robin from Winnie-The-Pooh. During لم أكن حتى أستطيع إزالة الشرشف عني.(عامة) I traced my household’s kitchen tablecloth on tracing/parchment paper. In an attempt to document a negotiation with definitions–definitions of growth, definitions of home, definitions of femininity. The table-cloth tracing stitched together felt like a sentence. My practise is tightly woven together with the act of writing, and tracing the stained and used cloth in my kitchen felt like a sentence.
